1 lb. lean
ground beef
1/3 cup uncooked rice
1 can tomato soup
1 cup water, rinse soup can
salt and pepper

Heat soup and water in heavy pan. Mix ground beef and rice together. Season to taste. Make into about 12 balls using hands. Drop balls into boiling soup mixture. Cover and cook until done,
about 45 minutes. Stir occasionally to keep from sticking to pan. Serves 4.
