½ c. Crisco
2 tsp vanilla
½ c butter (1 stick)
3 c. sifted flour
1 c sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. Brown sugar
½ tsp salt
2 eggs
12 oz chocolate chips
Heat oven to 375. Thoroughly mix crisco, butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients and add chips. Drop dough by
rounded teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 min or until light brown. Make 3 dozen.
