French Apple Pie

4 or 5 large apples Topping:

½ c. sugar 3/4 c flour

2 Tbsp flour 1/3 c. oleo

½ tsp nutmeg ½ c. brown sugar

½ tsp cinnamon Mix together.

Peel and slice apples.  Mix with sugar, flour & spices.

Put in unbaked 9″ pie shell.  Top with crumb mixture. 

Bake at 350 for 50 or 55 min. until apples are done

and topping is light brown.
